Responsible for working with Visual and Space teams to maintain store specific floorplans within JDA Floor planning software. These floorplans must support the Dick’s Corporate Brand and improve financial results. Evaluate space productivity within each store specific drawing and make recommendations to the Space, Visual and Merchant Teams.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Space Planning team to create store specific and prototypical merchandise plans within the assigned business area with consideration for layout, space allocation, category adjacencies, item placement and customer experience.
Analyze performance metrics for planograms and floorplans and provide recommendations to the Space, Visual and Merchant teams that identify potential opportunities to improve productivity of space. Produce Floor Heat Maps showing space productivity seasonally, or as requested by management. Provide recommendations for space reallocation based on findings.
Review accuracy and productivity of space and merchandise plans prior to publication to ensure all plans are accurate and executable at store level. Resolve store specific space issues.
Coordinate and support space and visual teams to ensure that merchandise and space plans are complete and accurate for new stores, remodels and department resets.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-functional teams (Buyers, Planning, Allocation, Marketing, Store Operations) Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop knowledge.
Participate in the completion of Special Projects as assigned by supervisor (special store projects, new store reviews, strategy expansions, and department resets, etc)

What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance
1 – 3 Years
Experience in Space planning, store design, field retail, merchandising, buying, inventory management, or related role
