As a Retail Sales Lead – Bike/Snow, you ensure our explorers are well equipped for their next adventure on the slopes or trails by providing thoughtful product recommendations that fit their skill/experience. You will bring your passion for cycling and snow to life in our store as you coach and encourage others to get outdoors!
Customer Service & Sales:
Assist and educate explorers with the purchase including how to use and maintain their cycling and ski/snow equipment and accessories
Support Company standards of selling and customer service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every explorer and maintaining solid product knowledge.
Contribute to sales results by knowing products and services, accurately communicating product information
Demonstrate product uses and operation and provides details about merchandise specifications, maintenance, care, delivery, and warranties
Uphold Public Lands standards for merchandise presentation by following established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, replenishment and recovery processes, in-stock, etc.
Complete sales transactions
Assist in other departments as needed
Scheduling & Operations:
Assist the store management team with general supervision in the store in accordance with Company policies and procedures, which may include opening and closing the store, performing Front End and Cash Office functions
Communicate information to department guides regarding Company initiatives, programs and promotions,
Supervise & Develop Talent:
Work with management to build, train, and certify a team of cycle and snow guides
Handle risk by ensuring all guides are trained and certified to safety specifications
Train and mentor new hires by sharing experience, knowledge and best practices. Share timely feedback on projects, tasks and deliverables.
All Guides, (our associates), are required to adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Additionally, as business needs arise, other tasks may become necessary.
