The Associate Store Planner develops store block, architecture, fixture and merchandise floor plans utilizing Revit software for new store projects pertaining to single level Dick's Sporting Goods. They will collaborate with the Floor Planning, Brand Shop and Store Operations teams to develop the final merchandise plan. They will work with architects and vendors to create the construction documents and will answer questions that come up from construction managers during the project construction. Associate Store Planner will also be responsible for some team administrative tasks related to weekly reporting.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Works with the Real Estate Team to adapt current design and layout standards to the proposed building sites for Real Estate Committee review. Creates overlays and basic feasibility studies for proposed Dick's Real Estate sites. • Responsible for the Store Planning administrative needs including printing bi-weekly prototype floorplans, standard weekly reports and schedules as well as adhoc needs for special projects. • Apply specific direction from Store Planning Manager to create preliminary and final architecture and fixture floor plans for basic single level new store projects. Collaborate with Floor Planning, Brand Shop and Store Operations teams to finalize the merchandise floor plan for use when opening the new store / remodels. Revise F1 as needed for prototypical changes (DRB's) during the project. • Collaborate with project architects to coordinate single level project specific A1 with F1. Collaborate with back room vendor on project specific back room shelving plans. Collaborate with Store Environment team to coordinate graphic installation plan (GIP) for a successful store project execution. Perform merchandise fixture takeoffs for Purchasing using Revit software. • Utilize the Store Planning database to input site specific store data. • Coordinate with Construction and New Store teams to answer questions and adjust F1 for field conditions.

What we’re looking for
Education Requirement: • Associates Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or similar
Experience Requirement: • 1 year • Experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Space Planning
Technological Requirements: • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point • Proficient in Revit BIM software • Proficient in AutoCad
