What You’ll Do In This Role
Description
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Corporate Systems team supporting and building applications within the Finance and Intelligent Automation domain. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for contributing to the software design, development, and overall product lifecycle. Senior Software Engineers are expected to pair on a daily basis as they work through user stories and support products/applications. In addition, Senior Software Engineers may be involved in system installation & upgrades, product configuration, performance tuning and testing as well as production monitoring. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team where there is opportunity to help build and grow your skills while you create, support, and deploy production applications.

Delivery & Execution:
- Experience preference as follows:
- PeopleSoft developer for Financials 9.2, PeopleTools 8.5+
- Experience with Application Engine, PeopleCode, PUM, Change Assistant
- PeopleSoft administrator – DPK service installation to spin up an environment (web, application, batch), Integration Broker, Oracle CPU patching
- SQL – Oracle
- Familiar with PL/SQL
- Familiarity or interest in C#/.NET core
- PeopleSoft developer for Financials 9.2, PeopleTools 8.5+
- Collaborates and pairs with other product team members (UX, engineering, product analysts and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions
- Works with Product Team to ensure user stories that are developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable
- Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases
- Installs and configures commercial off the shelf solutions to align with evolving business needs
- Teams with Reliability Engineering team to create meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactivel.
Support & Enablement:
- Fields questions from other product teams or support teams
- Monitors tools and participates in conversations to encourage collaboration across product teams
- Provides application support for software running in production
- Proactively monitors production Service Level Objectives for products
- Proactively reviews the Performance and Capacity of all aspects of production: code, infrastructure, data, and message processing
20% – Learning:
- Participates in learning activities around modern software design and development core practices (communities of practice)
- Proactively views articles, tutorials, and videos to learn about new technologies and best practices being used within other technology organizations
- Reviews and discusses code from more senior engineers to understand best practices and design patterns
- Increases business acumen by learning about other parts of the business
Bachelor's Degree
5-7 years experience
PeopleSoft developer for Financials 9.2, PeopleTools 8.5+
Experience with Application Engine, PeopleCode, PUM, Change Assistant
PeopleSoft administrator – DPK service installation to spin up an environment (web, application, batch), Integration Broker, Oracle CPU patching
