What You’ll Do In This Role
Description
Essential Functions of this position include:
- Ensure proper product flow through system
- Observe sorter monitor & cameras to ensure a constant flow of goods is maintained
- Fix any jams on lines to reduce down time
- Notify management of potential problems with product type
- Operate manual & mechanical equipment in a safe manner
- Complete documentation neatly & accurately
- Communicate between departmental leads & supervisors
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Benefits:
- Competitive Hourly Rate – $18.25 / hour
Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of Building Flow
- Basic Computer Skills
What we’re looking for
Qualifications
Success Profile:
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
- Willing to be trained on aerial equipment (scissor lift, boom lift, etc.)
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift cartons/bins weighing up to 50 lbs repetitively
- Manual dexterity
- Willing to be trained on material handler equipment (pallet rider, dock truck, etc.)
- Basic reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills
- Ability to work at heights greater than 10 feet
