What You’ll Do In This Role
Description
Provide legal support to the Legal Department and business clients regarding legal and business issues and projects. Requires skills in file management, legal research drafting routine documents and collection of documents relevant to matters. Strong desire and willingness to learn and handle new areas of responsibility.
Draft and edit a broad range of legal and business documents.
Conduct independent review and provide oral and written feedback to the business on materials submitted to the Legal Department.
Perform legal and business related research and summarize it for the appropriate party.
Attend business meetings lead by Vice Presidents as a representative of the Legal Department and exercise judgment to gather information from the business in order to draft legal documents.
Communicate status of work to appropriate parties in order to keep them informed and involved.
Recommending solutions and working with attorneys to implement a procedure or communicate the solution to the business.
What we’re looking for
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Paralegal Certificate or relevant work experience
3+ years' experience in Intellectual Property, Litigation, Contracts, Real Estate
