OVERVIEW:

Strategy & Channel Optimization:

  • Lead advancement of email, text, and mobile push marketing across DICK’S brands bridging BAU (Business as Usual) program with Personalization efforts transforming marketing touchpoints to enhance customer experience, increase engagement and amplify long-term value.

  • Partner with Analytics, eCommerce, Targeting, Creative, Athlete Insights and Marketing Planning teams to identify, size, and prioritize opportunities for testing and optimization.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and maintain a deep understanding of marketing technology, innovation, and trends, and champion forward-thinking in this arena.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in email, text, and mobile app marketing and recommend innovative approaches to enhance business performance and competitiveness.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive sustainable growth.

Channel Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze email, text, and push messaging performance and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends, and opportunities.

  • Use available channel performance measurement tools and work with the Tech Analytics team on development of new tools to track performance and trends of addressable marketing.

  • Provide performance measurement reporting and analysis. Consider and explore multiple hypotheses to explain data relationships and trends.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of key performance metrics, market trends, and landscape to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Drive development and maintain strategic planning frameworks, models, and tools to support decision-making processes and enable data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Partner with Analytics team to conduct in-depth analysis of channel performance data, trends, and customer behavior to generate actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing addressable planning, targeting, and messaging.

  • Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of channel strategies, creative assets, and messaging, and iterate on tactics to drive continuous improvement.

Dynamic Content, Product Recommendations, and AI Strategies:

  • Discover and implement dynamic content capabilities across addressable marketing channels. Lead activation and track usage of successful dynamic content modules.

  • Develop, implement and monitor product recommendations strategy for email to drive relevant user experiences and increase conversion rates.

  • Implement strategies to deliver targeted and relevant content experiences based on user segmentation, behavior, and preferences.

  • Work with an external vendor to utilize machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics to analyze customer data, behavior patterns, and purchase history to generate accurate and relevant product recommendations.

  • Design and implement tests to optimize product recommendation algorithms, algorithms' performance, and improve recommendation accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Conduct content audits and performance analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of dynamic content initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and optimize content strategy and execution.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in dynamic content management and drive innovative approaches to enhance content experiences and increase customer engagement.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive AI strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of AI technologies and platforms, assessing their feasibility, scalability, and potential impact on business operations and customer experiences.

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and ROI of AI initiatives, monitoring progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance AI capabilities and drive business outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization across business processes and workflows using

  • AI-driven solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

  • Build and manage relationships with various outside vendors planning and implementing advancement initiates.

Customer Acquisition & Retention:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive customer acquisition strategies to drive growth and meet acquisition targets.

  • Implement customer retention programs and initiatives to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn.

  • Design and implement new and lapsing customer acquisition strategies ensuring that objectives are met to maximum efficiency.

  • Monitor key performance metrics and track the effectiveness of acquisition and retention campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Advertising, or Business related field

  • 7-10 years experience

  • Experience with email, text, and push messaging
