Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, Edit and Produce Creative Solutions
Production of video for digital in-store marketing materials. This includes ensuring that brand approach, visual/voice standards, activation ideas and tactical promotion fully support the brand vision and stand out
Takes branded video templates, designs, and style guides and can incorporate them across all devices for a consistent brand experience across multiple internal and external vendors
Understands and implements best encoding and deployment practices
Cross Functional Teammates:
Supports a design team and projects with functional teammates in visual merchandising, merchants, and DMN partners to deliver projects on time and within budget managers within DMN Physical Retail Integration
Collaborates with internal creative team to produce and edit video content and style guides.
Industry Trends:
Remains current in the latest editing techniques and best practices
Cross Functional Partnerships
Participate in strategic discussions around creative positioning, trends and consumer behavior with our Merchandising and Visual teams by providing practical insight and opportunities. Articulate ideas, solutions and provide sound technical recommendations to secure alignment around strategic creative solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree in Video/Graphic Design, Marketing or Communications
3-5 years of experience in editing, preferably for a major retail chain or advertising/design/marketing agency with retail clients
Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite video tools - Premiere Pro, After Effects and Media Encoder
Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Strong digital design portfolio
Core competencies in color correction, audio editing, and visual effects/motion graphics
AI image generation - Midjourney, Runway (Preferred)
Animation & Video Web standards (Preferred)
Experience with CMS deployment
Ability to partner cross-functionally and build strong partnerships
Must be flexible and able to handle change in a fast-paced environment
Must stay up to date on the latest production techniques and creative digital designs being used in the retail industry
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize time to complete projects
Some experience in video art direction preferred
