OVERVIEW:
The Position:
We're looking for a Security Operations Engineer to support and strengthen GameChanger's security operations across our macOS-centric environment. You will own the daily operation, tuning, monitoring, and improvement of our core security platforms, covering endpoint security, identity, access management, email security, and device management at scale. You will focus on maintaining a secure, reliable environment while continuously improving detections, policies, automation, and incident-response readiness.You will report to the Manager of Security Engineering and partner with IT, Engineering, People Ops, Legal, and external providers to enhance our security posture.
What You'll Do:
Operate, monitor, and improve security platforms including EDR, DLP, PAM, IDP, Google Workspace security controls, Proofpoint, and Jamf for macOS fleet management.
Tune detections, policies, and telemetry to strengthen visibility and reduce false positives across endpoints and supporting infrastructure.
Investigate and remediate security alerts in partnership with our external SOC, our teams, and vendors.
Enhance incident-response readiness by maintaining runbooks, conducting tabletop exercises, and leading endpoint triage and root-cause analysis.
Automate recurring security operations workflows such as alert enrichment, user lifecycle tasks, and configuration checks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Cybersecurity
1-3 years experience Cyber Security, DevOps, SecOps
