The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role within the Corporate FP&A team in planning and tracking the financial performance for DICK'S Sporting Goods. In this role, the Sr. Analyst will develop and maintain accurate Balance Sheet and Cash Flow plans and assist in the enhancement and operation of the Corporate Long-Term Forecasting Model-a complex, multi year model used across a variety of strategic applications. This role will support the assembly and management of detailed departmental expense planning and serve as the primary resource for all aspects of Administrative Expense planning within the Long Term Model. This role requires acute attention to detail and strong financial acumen with understanding of Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
Balance Sheet and Cash Flow:
- Develop monthly updates to Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecast, coordinating with various finance partners to understand trends and drivers of forecast updates
- Oversee the development of the annual Budget process for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, collaborating with various finance partners (Treasury, Accounting, Tax) to develop accurate and informed Budgets in alignment with organizational strategies and broader financial budgeting process
- Maintain Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting for finance & executive leaders and Board of Directors updates
- Develop and refine Balance Sheet and Cash Flow planning processes that meets evolving needs of the organization
- Serve as go-to resource within FP&A for all inquiries and analytical requests for Cash Flow and Balance Sheet
Administrative Expenses:
- Responsible for forecast and annual budget for all Finance administrative departments, coordinating with respective finance leaders to understand expense needs and establishing/updating plans for each department
- Overseeing the Administration Budget process for all Administration departments, liaising with respective finance partners to understand broader Admin Budget inputs and drivers of expenses results
- Collaborating with finance and business partners across the organization to gain detailed understanding of Admin spending trends and drivers throughout the year and variances to Admin expense plans
- Maintain admin expense reporting that tracks trends in spending and performance vs plan - providing meaningful insights to finance and exec leaders to inform financial reporting and decision-making
- Act as go-to resource within FP&A for all inquiries/analytical requests related to Admin expenses and trends
Long-Term Financial Modeling:
- Assist in the management of the Corporate Long-Term Financial Model, a complex multi-year forecasting model combining business trends with near and long-term business strategies to develop a multi-year financial forecast (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Income Statement)
- Oversee the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow outputs of the Long-Term Financial Model, reviewing for accuracy and speaking to results and insights from the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
- Responsible for the Administrative Expense Long-Term Model, a bolt-on model that informs the Corporate Long-Term Financial Model; similar to the Corporate Long-Term Model, this is a complex financial model built upon admin expense trends and the respective impacts of organization strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree-MBA/CPA a plus
5-7 Years of Experience
Prefer knowledge of MS Excel, PeopleSoft Financials and Hyperion
