OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager, FP&A will serve as the finance leader supporting our Vertical Brand business, vendor profitability efforts, and Merchandising Test & Learn initiatives. This role oversees key financial processes including forecasting, budgeting, product loads, vendor P&Ls, and statistical evaluation of merchandising investments. The position requires strong analytical rigor, business partnership, and the ability to translate complex financial insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Vertical Brand Financial Support: Own financial support for our Vertical Brand business, including:
- Lead P&L budgeting and forecasting efforts for Vertical Brands.
- Own Monthly Business Review process, including developing executive-facing, insight-driven materials and facilitating discussions with leadership to drive alignment and informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboard reporting and driver-based analyses to surface key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial modeling to evaluate strategic initiatives, brand expansions, and profitability levers.
Vendor Profitability: Drive transparency and improvement of our vendor economics through:
- Ownership of annual vendor-level P&Ls, ensuring accuracy, insight generation, and clear communication to stakeholders.
- Development of forward-looking vendor performance views, including scenario planning and profitability modeling.
- Partner with the Merchandising team to assess vendor business models, negotiation levers, and profit-enhancing opportunities.
- Build tools and dashboards that improve visibility into vendor contribution and financial health.
Merch Test & Learn: Support strategic decision-making through data-driven experimentation, including:
- Lead financial analysis for Test & Learn initiatives related to Merch capex, brand introductions, and strategic pilots to isolate true financial impacts on sales, margin, and inventory.
- Build standardized methodologies and reporting to evaluate ROI and support capital allocation decisions for these investments.
- Partner with Merchandising, Operations, and Data Science to ensure test design integrity, actionable insights, and clear communications of results to key stakeholders.
Mentoring and Training:
- Lead and develop a team of up to two direct reports and serve as a mentor to other FP&A analysts / peers

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business field
- 10 to 15 years' experience
- 10+ years in roles of progressive responsibility in a Financial Analysis and/or Accounting Role(s). Retail Experience a significant plus
