OVERVIEW:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives: Lead on-going project management & support of key initiatives set by Senior Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional projects and execute project vision

  • Lead and participate in problem-solving sessions to achieve project goals and overcome challenges

  • Conduct analyses for relevant projects to support, accelerate, and guide leadership decisions

  • Leverage data to support business case development

  • Develop clear customer or business stories to articulate needs, challenges, and benefits

  • Synthesize and present findings to senior leadership and organizational stakeholders with clear recommendations

  • Represent the store channel as a subject matter expert on strategic projects and workstreams

  • Facilitate transition of new project to on-going support teams as necessary

  • Actively participate in all technology and related stakeholder planning sessions to bring a perspective of business requirements to bear in the road mapping and development processes

Competitive & Business Intelligence: Understand the sporting goods and omni-channel retail landscape

  • Aggregate & analyze competitive insights and summarize findings for organization & leadership on a regular cadence using both internal and 3rd party data sources

  • Gather insights and learnings from key internal and field partners to inform strategic recommendations

  • Research business trends and leverage expert interviews to build insights and recommendations on new business opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to build out strategies in response to business intelligence updates

Company Strategy: Annual and forward-looking strategic plans and organizational goals

  • Work with senior leadership to enable the organization's strategic plan (both annual and multi-year) as well as any high priority goals / objectives

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the athlete and teammate experience while delivering incremental value to the business

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Engineering; MBA or relevant work experience preferred

  • 5 - 7 Years of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity / Venture Capital, Internal Corporate Strategy for a Fortune 500 Company

  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • Experience creating or using presentations and other methods to drive projects and change within an organization

  • Ability to problem-solve issues across a wide range of business topics and functions

  • Demonstrates an ability to work and build relationships with all levels of the business from entry-level teammates to the Executive Team

  • Demonstrates an ability to analyze data and effectively synthesize recommendations

  • Composure with Senior Leadership in 1:1 conversations; experience influencing and presenting to Senior Leaders

  • Passion for Strategy, Retail, Sports, and/or Innovation

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
