OVERVIEW:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance the company's cash forecasting model, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure an accurate and timely view of the company's cash position. The Treasury Analyst will execute daily cash positioning activities, including managing short‑term borrowings and cash investments and report adjustments weekly. In addition, this role is responsible for understanding and completing all monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance requirements related to the company's capital structure.
Perform financial close activities for balance sheet and P&L accounts, including preparing journal entries. This role is responsible for exporting journal entries from TRECs, posting manual entries such as accruals i , and reconciling balance sheet accounts. The Treasury Analyst will manage relationships with internal and external auditors and fulfill all quarterly SOX compliance requirements. In addition, the role will complete the annual P&L and balance sheet budget for assigned accounts.
Support the company's digital payments ecosystem through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams-including Payments, Finance, Accounting, Tech, and Operations-to provide financial insights that inform payment strategy, vendor decisions, and product initiatives.
Support teammates in stores by working with banks and carriers to ensure deposit and coin order information is correct and is delivered properly to the stores. Troubleshoot any issues arising from armored carrier mistakes.
Support Treasury team processes and assist with adhoc report/analysis of processes to determine effectiveness/efficiencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance
- 1-3 years experience, including preferable experience with PeopleSoft Financials and TRECS systems. Background in banking and/or an accounting and finance function.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products
Experience with TEAM messaging platform
Understanding of on-line banking systems
Analytical skills
Familiarity with financial close processes
Ability to monitor and record entries to the financial statements
