SUMMER INTERNSHIPS
Take on big league challenges and deliver big-time results during this 11-week summer experience at our corporate office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The program offers you the opportunity to participate in events and activities curated specifically for you. Summer Internship Program

CHRISTOPHER SMITH: I go to the University of Pittsburgh.
JAMAL AHMED: I am a rising junior at UC Berkeley.
MEGAN REIMER: I go to school at Penn State.
TYLER WILSON: I go to Robert Morris University.
MOLLY HUGHES: I’m going to be a senior at the University of Pittsburgh.
MALAV PATEL: Penn State University.
ALICE KENAWELL: I go to Iowa State University.
KIRSTEN BECK: The environment at Dick’s Sporting Goods is contagious. Everyone loves to be there. Everyone loves what they do. And in an environment like that, you can really thrive.
CHRISTOPHER SMITH: I chose Dick’s Sporting Goods because I have a love for sports, and just seemed like somewhere I would really fit and enjoy what I was doing.
MALAV PATEL: This company cares about its community. This company is more than just making money. And that’s the type of company I wanted to work for.
MOLLY HUGHES: What surprised me the most, was honestly, how much I learned and how welcomed I felt in this community.
MEGAN REIMER: All the different connections I made with people all over the different areas of the business.
ALICE KENAWELL: I was surprised by how much responsibility. I was given as an intern. I was given projects that I was the leader of.
MEGAN REIMER: And it was also really motivating coming to work every day knowing that I was going to be doing really valuable things for the company.
TYLER WILSON: They really took me in and they treated me like a coworker and not just an intern.
JAMAL AHMED: I would say my favorite part of this experience is probably the people. We spent a lot of time here together, just like learning from each other, but also hanging on after work.
KIRSTEN BECK: It was so fun to be with all the other interns, eat great food, win some prizes, and get to look at a great view of the city.
MALAV PATEL: You will soon realize once you join this internship, all these interns will become your next family.
KIRSTEN BECK: We are also sad to say goodbye to each other, because this summer meant a lot to all of us.
TYLER WILSON: Man, we did a lot this summer.
JAMAL AHMED: I think it was a really worthwhile experience, because I really learned a lot about how businesses this size operate.
TYLER WILSON: And they’ve created a great environment for learning, for growing, for developing, and for the ability to really grow and build a career at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
MEGAN REIMER: There’s endless opportunities for you here. And just fitting in with the culture, is really what drove me to want to grow and start my career here.
MOLLY HUGHES: So as a Dick’s intern, you will feel important, you will feel welcomed, and above all, you will be a part of the team.
